{"id":7298,"date":"2022-04-01T10:47:31","date_gmt":"2022-04-01T07:47:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/services.kraniotis.gr\/product\/apodosh-ellhnikou-afm-kai-kleidarithmou-fysikou-proswpou\/"},"modified":"2026-06-25T16:21:55","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T13:21:55","slug":"apodosh-ellhnikou-afm-kai-kleidarithmou-fysikou-proswpou","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/services.kraniotis.gr\/en\/product\/apodosh-ellhnikou-afm-kai-kleidarithmou-fysikou-proswpou\/","title":{"rendered":"Attribution of Greek TIN (tax identification number) and personal code number [a special key (\u201c\u039a\u03bb\u03b5\u03b9\u03b4\u03ac\u03c1\u03b9\u03b8\u03bc\u03bf\u03c2\u201d)] of a natural person"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every Greek taxpayer and foreign citizen with a permanent residence in another country (EU or Third country), regardless of age, who has rights and obligations <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0related to the Greek tax administration, is obliged to issue a Greek Tax Identification Number (in short TIN).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rights and obligations to the Greek tax administration may arise from transactions such as purchase, sale of movable and immovable property, investments, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">leases of real estate, commencement of business activity, etc. which takes place in Greece, then the existence of the personal TIN number will be requested for <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">these actions and the completion of the transactions. This number is unique to each natural person and is necessary for transactions with public and other <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0institutions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>For the attribution of a Greek TIN at the Tax Office responsible for non- residents, the following are required: \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Identification data of the person (photocopy of identity card and\/or passport)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Appointment of a tax representative <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Contact details (full address abroad and contact email)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">In the case of representation by a third party for the attribution of a TIN, authorization is required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Each taxpayer also has a personal account on the website of the General Secretariat for Information Systems (GSIS- www.gsis.gr or taxisnet), where<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">all personal data of interest to the tax administration as well as a history of declarations, debts, payments and other data are kept;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">all submissions of the taxpayer's declarations are made<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Registration process completed in 3 steps:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apply for registration online <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> In-person presence at the Tax Office for approval of the application and receipt of the personal code number<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Activate account online<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In case we need to represent you in the competent
